三日目:下北沢と原宿

Probably haven't heard of this place, Shimokitazawa...which took me 10 minutes to figure out how to pronounce it, but it's near Shibuya, about 20-30 minutes by train. A small, but colorful town, filled with madd pachinko slots, Hotto Mottos, "CON-BI-NI's," and ABC Marts. Glad that Hiroshi could make it that morning, surprised that we all survived to live from the party the night before. Enough chit-chat, peep.

During this time, we so patiently waited almost 15 minutes for 2 really slow trains to pull to the station less than 20 feet to the left. The scary thing was this crazy guy next to us was 2-steepping and holding his ear while talking to himself. Ok, so in Japan, you gotta watch out for whackos, you never know who's gonna snap, or run you over, or stab you. Watch yo back!

Lesson 1: CONBI-NI...a.k.a. Convenience store in Japanese. Probably the most notorious places in Japan. The food in their convenience stores are waaaaayyy better than America's. They got madd selection and really really good quality foods on the go. You would be amazed of what they got...

Harajuku, the fashion capital in Japan, as claimed. Unfotunately, it rained...bleeehhh. I hate umbrella traffic, you can get your eye poked out if you ain't watching.

Heading back to Tamachi at Typhoon, an izakaya, we gotta fill the stomachs with good eats, and some nice beeeerr...."for a relaxing time, make it a Suntory time..." That is so true Bill.

Silly Americans, we have Sharp Aquos TV's on our cell phones. Pshhh...rotating screens, yeah, thas right, we got em too...oh, the aganoy of irony.

Keeping it short and sweet, making posts as swiftly as possible in smaller segments. Just got back to Kagoshima from Kumamoto...and thank god I got 2 bars of connection now! Still lagging...and I'm almost on my way home already...missing that Cali sun already, the humidity is killing me, and I'm getting fat...
いってきます!
